Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask by KingdraKaidou Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask by KingdraKaidou
I have been very busy recently because of upcoming tests in artschool. I had to make eight pieces of artwork to sign up for next year, therefore I have been busy for these last weeks. This is one of the works I made for that assignment.

I have never drawn any Zelda characters before, ever. I don't know how accurate the character models of the bosses are, but I tried my best.

Obviously, the Legend of Zelda franchise doesn't belong to me.

Very awesome art. Is the boss fight with Twinmold awesome? I haven't gotten to it yet.

At the base, the concept is awesome, but it isn't really executed that well. You fight them while wearing the Giant's Mask, but you are unable to z-target them during that time, so you just have to confront them directly without it.

But neither part of the Twinmold does any real effort to attack you and even if you look like you're a giant compared to the surroundings, you don't really get that feeling since you're still moving at the same pace as regular Link. It basically looks like little Link is running around trying to kill medium-sized centipedes in the middle of the desert. This is probably because of the limitations of the N64 back in the day, considering the massive content of Majora's Mask. It's by no means a bad boss battle, it's just not quite what I think it was intended to be like.

OK. The crazy thing about that boss fight was that it was intended to show off what they could do, because the bosses still had complex models that were huge. Large models were harder for the system to render than small ones. I always thought that the Moon lost its impact if you weren't in Clock Town, because it just looks like a much smaller moon 100 feet above the playspace. I think that if it was remastered, the moon would use blueshifting to simulate atmosphere between it and you.

Well, that is the reason why so many want a Majora's Mask 3Ds game to be the next LoZ remake.
I personally really enjoyed the improvements they did on Ocarina of Time, both visually and technically. It was what a remake should be like, an improvement of the original.
